About Me
I’ve been doing web design and development for my wife’s video production company – creative illusions Productions – since 1994. In that time I’ve built sites and web content for companies like BellSouth, Turner Broadcasting, the Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau, the FBI and more. I like to maintain a relatively low customer base so that I can provide more personal service to my clients.
Here I am with my wife, the producer/director at creative illusions Productions, and our puppies. As you can see, I ain’t no spring chicken. I built my first commercial website in 1994, long before most current web designers were even born. Incidentally, that site had over 700 individual pages, and I was paid $65,000. Those were the days…
Times have changed. Web design tools have made the work so much easier and faster, that such prices are no longer justifiable. In fact, most of the sites I create these days are under $2000 – way under.

Responsive Web Design
'Responsive' web design means that your site will work on ANY screen it's viewed. These days, most people view web sites on mobile devices, so your site needs to look as good on a phone or tablet as it does on a full size computer screen.
Site Hosting
I have been a reseller since 2003 for one of the most reliable web hosting companies around - Verve Hosting. During that time I have not experienced a single noticeable loss in service. Verve has a totally redundant system that virtually eliminates downtime. Though I will manage the bulk of your site’s operations, whenever I have needed any help from Verve, I’ve never had to wait longer than 30 minutes for a request to be handled.
Domain Registration
Do you need a domain name? Is it still available? If it’s already taken, are there any similar domains available? A domain name is your address on the web, and becomes an integral part of your branding and marketing.
Search Engine Optimization
Once your site is up and running, I will take steps to make sure search engines such as Google index it, and will begin a process to try and move it higher in Google’s search results page. This isn’t a quick process - sometimes taking weeks or even months, but we'll stick with it.
Social Media
Social media. You may love it, you may hate the thought of it, but one fact is inescapable - it’s important to business. We can show you how, and put you on the right path to using social media as an important tool.
Email Setup
Along with your new domain and site, you'll need email addresses. Still using GMail or another service? Having your own email address with your site's domain makes you look better, and more professional. We'll help you set up your new email accounts on all of your devices.
